Principle Engineer May 2021 - Present

Implemented an automated testing system using Cypress and Github actions. Created a SvelteKit based CMS using an existing Java microservice backend, with AWS Amplify for authentication. Built an Electron based Svelte application for Linux based kiosks for file and video viewing.

Built a modern React v17 app using Material UI 5, AWS Cognito for authentication, and utilized a Java Spring-based microservice backend. Deployed private NPM packages for use on multiple internal projects. Converted aging WordPress system into NextJS and deployed to AWS.

Leading the Ecommerce and Digital Experience front-end development team as well as provide technical consultation on new projects and initiatives throughout Lennox. Helped brainstorm and plan new applications. Advocate for modern technology stacks like JAMstack and a return to the web's HTML roots with NodeJS 11ty framework.

Created multiple new apps. Helped launch a new eCommerce platform on Hybris. Migrated the old sharepoint-based website into the new Hybris website. Built up a team of developers in the process, and brought the company's technology stack into the modern coding standards.

Worked on application building for promotions, store locating, programs, and events with third party companies. Built standalone websites for brands under the Sally Beauty corporate umbrella. I also planned the architecture and development for the Project Runway season 14 website.
